You can find in the traditional taverns hand-kneaded bread, often baked in wooden ovens. In the local bakeries you will find unique products as well as traditional handmade pasta (in greek chilopites) and greek trahana. In the countryside you can find local meat (goat, lamb, beef, chicken), baked or grilled, or cooked with local recipes.
Rooster with pasta, lamb and goat meat cooked in a pot or with olive oil and oregano, and rabbit stew, are some of the tastes that are unforgettable to those who eat them.

Aigialeia zone is well known for the quality of its wine production due to its geographical location, climate, soil and subsoil, which are considered ideal and contribute significantly to the quality of the wines. In the area you will find a number of wineries such as the Tetramytnos, the Inophoros and the Cavino.
